Portfolio Manager, Partner
Chris joined Frontier Market Asset Management in 2015. Prior to joining FMAM he served as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Allianz Global Investors and Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management. He managed a six-person global strategies group with responsibilities for developed and emerging markets coverage. He managed International Small Cap and Global All Cap strategies using an investment philosophy designed to capitalize on behavioral inefficiencies with a focus on positive fundamental change. Prior to that, Chris worked as an analyst in the investment banking division of Lehman Brothers. He worked with group members and senior management teams to structure and complete equity offerings, debt financings, and mergers & acquisitions.
Chris holds a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Chris is a fellow with the Robert Toigo Foundation, a fellow with the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, and a board member of Dwell.
How and why did you get into this business?
I started on the buy-side as an intern while completing my M.B.A. at UC Berkeley. I was attracted to the challenge of finding value in a business before it was widely recognized.

The challenge of creating value in a dynamic and diverse investment universe.
What do you like to do in your down time away from work?
Gardening and cooking. From my backyard to my dinner plate. I also play indoor soccer.
